
Hungarian Iced Coffee Cake – Don’t Lose This Recipe!
Ingredients:
- 250 g flour
- 150 g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 120 ml milk
- 100 ml strong coffee (cooled)
- 100 ml oil or melted butter
- 1 packet baking powder
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder (optional for coffee flavor)
- Pinch of salt
Cream topping:
- 200 ml whipped cream or mascarpone
- 2–3 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tsp instant coffee or coffee extract
Instructions:
- Whisk eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add milk, coffee, and oil, then mix well.
- Add flour, baking powder, salt, and cocoa, and combine into smooth batter.
- Pour into a baking tray and bake at 180°C for 25–30 minutes.
- Let it cool completely.
- Mix cream with sugar and coffee, then spread on top.
- Chill in the fridge before serving.
