Hungarian Iced Coffee Cake – Don’t Lose This Recipe!

Ingredients:

  • 250 g flour
  • 150 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 120 ml milk
  • 100 ml strong coffee (cooled)
  • 100 ml oil or melted butter
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder (optional for coffee flavor)
  • Pinch of salt

Cream topping:

  • 200 ml whipped cream or mascarpone
  • 2–3 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp instant coffee or coffee extract

Instructions:

  1. Whisk eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add milk, coffee, and oil, then mix well.
  3. Add flour, baking powder, salt, and cocoa, and combine into smooth batter.
  4. Pour into a baking tray and bake at 180°C for 25–30 minutes.
  5. Let it cool completely.
  6. Mix cream with sugar and coffee, then spread on top.
  7. Chill in the fridge before serving.
