Hungarian Fried Pork Cracklings (Tepertő) – Don’t Lose This Recipe!

Ingredients:

  • 500 g pork fat (with small meat pieces if possible)
  • 1 tsp salt (added at the end)

Instructions:

  1. Cut the pork fat into small cubes.
  2. Place in a heavy pot over low heat.
  3. Slowly render the fat, stirring occasionally so it doesn’t burn.
  4. Continue cooking until the pieces become golden and crispy.
  5. Remove from the fat and drain on paper towel.
  6. Lightly salt while still warm.
  7. Serve warm or cold with bread.
