Hungarian Palacsinta (Crepes)

Ingredients:

  • 250 g flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 500 ml milk
  • 200 ml water or sparkling water
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp oil or melted butter

Instructions:

  1. Whisk eggs, milk, water, sugar, salt, and oil together.
  2. Gradually add flour and mix until smooth batter forms.
  3. Let the batter rest for 20–30 minutes.
  4. Heat a lightly greased pan.
  5. Pour a thin layer of batter and swirl evenly.
  6. Cook for about 1 minute per side until lightly golden.
  7. Fill with jam, cocoa, nuts, or sweet cheese, then roll or fold.
