
Instructions
- Mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 5–10 minutes.
- Add eggs, butter, salt, and flour. Mix into a soft dough.
- Knead until smooth, then let rise 1 hour.
- Roll dough into long strips.
- Wrap strips around greased rolling pins or chimney cake molds.
- Brush with butter and roll in sugar.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden caramelized.
- Brush with more butter and coat with cinnamon sugar or nuts while warm.
